Sold at the upper estimate price
In February 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Between Red 51 by Sea Hyun Lee. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,311.86), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Sea Hyun Lee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work Between Red 18 was auctioned for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,050.38).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Between Red 51 von Sea Hyun Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.311,86) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sea Hyun Lee konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2011 die Arbeit Between Red 18 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.050,38) versteigert.
