Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Topiary Gargantua by Ryan Mosley for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,392.50). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Mosley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tag Team, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,208.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Topiary Gargantua von Ryan Mosley für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.392,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Mosley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tag Team beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.208,29) versteigert wurde.
