Auction result misses estimated price range

In March 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Cigarettes by Robert Lazzarini for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robert Lazzarini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gun (V) in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 28,284.96).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im März 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cigarettes von Robert Lazzarini für USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.267,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Lazzarini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gun (V) im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 28.284,96).
