Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brass Knuckles (Iv) by Robert Lazzarini was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,801.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Lazzarini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gun (V), which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 36,250.00 (€ 28,284.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brass Knuckles (Iv) von Robert Lazzarini kam im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.801,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Lazzarini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gun (V) beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 36.250,00 (€ 28.284,96) versteigert wurde.
