In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Teacup by Robert Lazzarini for USD 375.00 (€ 330.92). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lazzarini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gun (V) in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 28,284.96).
