Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Teacup by Robert Lazzarini for USD 375.00 (€ 330.92). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lazzarini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gun (V) in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 28,284.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Teacup von Robert Lazzarini für USD 375,00 (€ 330,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Lazzarini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gun (V) im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 28.284,96).
