In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Fire By Days Blues Xv sold for USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,145.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rita Ackermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Water Lilies in Chalk V in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 115,500.00 (€ 99,380.49).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rita Ackermann erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Fire By Days Blues Xv für USD 17.640,00 (€ 15.145,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rita Ackermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Water Lilies in Chalk V im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 115.500,00 (€ 99.380,49).
