The work Nude Turning Air Blue V by Rita Ackermann was sold in the (Women) Artists auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,840.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rita Ackermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Water Lilies in Chalk V, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 115,500.00 (€ 99,380.49).

Die Arbeit Nude Turning Air Blue V von Rita Ackermann wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion (Women) Artists bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.840,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rita Ackermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Water Lilies in Chalk V beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 115.500,00 (€ 99.380,49) versteigert wurde.
