Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Prints, which included the work Manhattan View, Battery Park (Day) by Richard Haas. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 763.75 (€ 882.13). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Haas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manhattan View, Battery Park; and Manhattan View, Battery Park, Night, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,394.25).
