Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Untitled (Family Dog) by Richard Billingham. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 684.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Billingham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (I) Untitled (Ral 4) (Ii) Untitled (Nral 42) (Iii) Untitled (Ral 7) (Iv) Untitled (Ral 38) (V) Untitled (Ral 45) (Vi) Untitled (Ral 43) (Vii) Untitled (Ral 46) (Viii) Untitled (Ral 48) (Ix) Untitled (Ral 50) (X) Untitled (Ral 51) in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,789.57).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Family Dog) von Richard Billingham zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 684,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Billingham erzielen.
