Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Ceramics by Raimonds Staprans. The price achieved of USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,714.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raimonds Staprans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning Mist, 1986 in September last year with an auction result of USD 189,375.00 (€ 193,575.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ceramics von Raimonds Staprans zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.714,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raimonds Staprans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Morning Mist, 1986 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 189.375,00 (€ 193.575,59).
