Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California, which included the work Coalinga, 1992 by Raimonds Staprans. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 120,075.00 (€ 122,738.42). Other works by Raimonds Staprans have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 189,375.00 (€ 193,575.59) in September last year for the work Morning Mist, 1986.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coalinga, 1992 von Raimonds Staprans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 120.075,00 (€ 122.738,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Raimonds Staprans haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 189.375,00 (€ 193.575,59) im September letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Morning Mist, 1986 beobachtet.
