Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Help! (F. 72) by Peggy Bacon was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. The price achieved of USD 699.00 (€ 661.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Peggy Bacon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Few Ideas in August this year with an auction result of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,254.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Help! (F. 72) von Peggy Bacon wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 699,00 (€ 661,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peggy Bacon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Few Ideas im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.254,91).
