In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Diego Rivera changed hands for USD 640.00 (€ 600.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Peggy Bacon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Few Ideas in August this year with an auction result of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,254.91).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peggy Bacon konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit Diego Rivera für USD 640,00 (€ 600,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
