Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Online, which included this untitled work by Pamela Rosenkranz. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,300.09), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pamela Rosenkranz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pamela Rosenkranz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.300,09) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pamela Rosenkranz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.458,50).
