This artwork by Pamela Rosenkranz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March last year. In the New Now auction, the work Express Nothing (Peachy Beige Smart Water) sold for USD 35,280.00 (€ 31,803.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pamela Rosenkranz; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) sold at auction in February 2016 with the realized price of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).
