Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Egret, Chi, Morning Walk (White) by Pamela Rosenkranz. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 24,411.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela Rosenkranz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice), which sold at auction in February 2016 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).

Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egret, Chi, Morning Walk (White) von Pamela Rosenkranz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 24.411,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela Rosenkranz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.458,50) versteigert wurde.
