Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,015.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela Rosenkranz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice), which sold at auction in February 2016 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).

Die Arbeit Avoid Contact (Discharge Shadow) von Pamela Rosenkranz kam im Juni 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.015,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela Rosenkranz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.458,50) versteigert wurde.
