The work Soundsuit by Nick Cave was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. It achieved a price of USD 150,000.00 (€ 142,018.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nick Cave; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Soundsuit sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of USD 189,000.00 (€ 154,994.26).

Die Arbeit Soundsuit von Nick Cave kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 142.018,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nick Cave; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Soundsuit im Mai 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 189.000,00 (€ 154.994,26).
