Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Made In Brazil by Nelson Leirner for GBP 625.00 (€ 861.78). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Made In Brazil von Nelson Leirner für GBP 625,00 (€ 861,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
