Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nelson Leirner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October last year. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Você faz parte...o retorno sold for USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,952.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nelson Leirner erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Você faz parte...o retorno für USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.952,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
