Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sem Titulo (Assim É... Se Lhe Parece) by Nelson Leirner was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,746.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sem Titulo (Assim É... Se Lhe Parece) von Nelson Leirner wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.746,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
