Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sem Titulo (Assim É... Se Lhe Parece) by Nelson Leirner was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,746.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
