In November 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Sem titulo from the series Assim é ... Lhe Parece by Nelson Leirner. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,059.19), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sem titulo from the series Assim é ... Lhe Parece von Nelson Leirner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.059,19) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
