Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Middle-aged Bliss; and Old Man and Dog by Nancy Dwyer was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 1,651.00 (€ 1,495.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nancy Dwyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aging Punks in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Middle-aged Bliss; and Old Man and Dog von Nancy Dwyer kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.651,00 (€ 1.495,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nancy Dwyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aging Punks im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50).
