Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beep After The Beep by Nancy Dwyer was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nancy Dwyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aging Punks, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beep After The Beep von Nancy Dwyer kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nancy Dwyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aging Punks beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50) versteigert wurde.
