Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Your Name Here by Nancy Dwyer. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 784.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Dwyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aging Punks in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Your Name Here von Nancy Dwyer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 784,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nancy Dwyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aging Punks im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50).
