It achieved a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,088.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Milo Matthieu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los Siete Infantes in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 152,371.08).

Die Arbeit Vuu Duu von Milo Matthieu wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.088,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milo Matthieu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los Siete Infantes im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 152.371,08).
