Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Milo Matthieu could be acquired at Phillips in 7 - in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction, the work Bloc'Mon changed hands for USD 2,540.00 (€ 2,296.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milo Matthieu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Siete Infantes in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 152,371.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Milo Matthieu konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York wechselte die Arbeit Bloc'Mon für USD 2.540,00 (€ 2.296,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milo Matthieu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Siete Infantes im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 152.371,08).
