Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Twenty One Contemporary, which included the work A place beyond the sunset - 2021 by Milo Matthieu. The price achieved of EUR 24,928.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Milo Matthieu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los Siete Infantes in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 152,371.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Twenty One Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit A place beyond the sunset - 2021 von Milo Matthieu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 24.928,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milo Matthieu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los Siete Infantes im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 152.371,08).
