Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Miss Congeniality.II by Milo Matthieu. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,240.00 (€ 13,971.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milo Matthieu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Siete Infantes in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 152,371.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miss Congeniality.II von Milo Matthieu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.240,00 (€ 13.971,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milo Matthieu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Siete Infantes im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 152.371,08).
