Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire the work A Love Supreme by Milo Matthieu for USD 18,900.00 (€ 19,319.23). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Milo Matthieu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los Siete Infantes in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 152,371.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Love Supreme von Milo Matthieu für USD 18.900,00 (€ 19.319,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milo Matthieu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los Siete Infantes im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 152.371,08).
