The work Modell by Michel François was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,835.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel François achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souffles dans le verre in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 62,776.08).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Modell von Michel François wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.835,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel François erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souffles dans le verre im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 62.776,08).
