This work without title by Michel François was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,307.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Michel François have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Souffles dans le verre in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 62,776.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michel François wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.307,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel François auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Souffles dans le verre im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 62.776,08).
