In October 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work tc06, from Transparent City by Michael Wolf. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,017.03), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Wolf achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit tc06, from Transparent City von Michael Wolf zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.017,03) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Wolf erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
