Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Transparent City #39, 2007/2009 by Michael Wolf was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,205.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Wolf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Transparent City #39, 2007/2009 von Michael Wolf kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.205,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Wolf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
