A top price for Michael Wolf - as previously expected
The work Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 by Michael Wolf was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 47,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 is the most expensive artwork by Michael Wolf that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 von Michael Wolf kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 47.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Wolf, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
