Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mike Cloud could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Large Abstract changed hands for USD 125 (€ 110) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300 – 500. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Cloud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,750 (€ 2,447).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mike Cloud konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Large Abstract für USD 125 (€ 110) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300 – 500. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Cloud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.750 (€ 2.447).
