Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Mike Cloud for USD 1,250 (€ 975). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000 – 3,000 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mike Cloud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 2,750 (€ 2,447).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mike Cloud für USD 1.250 (€ 975) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000 – 3.000. Für andere Arbeiten von Mike Cloud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 2.750 (€ 2.447) versteigert wurde.
