This artwork by Matteo Pugliese achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Il Segreto sold for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 71,175.84) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matteo Pugliese - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Samurai, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Matteo Pugliese erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Il Segreto für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 71.175,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Samurai beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57) versteigert wurde.
