Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Custode Redskin by Matteo Pugliese. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matteo Pugliese achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Samurai in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Custode Redskin von Matteo Pugliese zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Samurai im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57).
