Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Samurai Guardian Viii by Matteo Pugliese. It changed hands for a price of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 30,702.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matteo Pugliese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Samurai in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Samurai Guardian Viii von Matteo Pugliese zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 30.702,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Samurai im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57).
