A top price for Matteo Pugliese - as previously expected
The work Samurai by Matteo Pugliese was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,300,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Samurai is the most expensive artwork by Matteo Pugliese that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Samurai von Matteo Pugliese kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.300.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Samurai das teuerste Kunstwerk von Matteo Pugliese, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
