Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work New Views of Mt. Fuji: Sinking Pleasure Boat by Masami Teraoka. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,054.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masami Teraoka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 4,820,000.00 (€ 414,685.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit New Views of Mt. Fuji: Sinking Pleasure Boat von Masami Teraoka zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.054,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masami Teraoka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.820.000,00 (€ 414.685,87).
