Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Namiyo at Hanauma Bay by Masami Teraoka was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,176.00 (€ 1,992.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masami Teraoka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 4,820,000.00 (€ 414,685.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Namiyo at Hanauma Bay von Masami Teraoka kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.176,00 (€ 1.992,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masami Teraoka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.820.000,00 (€ 414.685,87).
