Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work French Vanilla, from 31 Flavors Invading Japan by Masami Teraoka was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,239.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masami Teraoka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 4,820,000.00 (€ 414,685.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit French Vanilla, from 31 Flavors Invading Japan von Masami Teraoka wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.239,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masami Teraoka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cloisters Venus and Pope's Workout im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.820.000,00 (€ 414.685,87).
