Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Espiral Del Viento I by Martín Chirino was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 58,011.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Chirino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Viento, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 226,800.00.
