Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Raíz (Root) by Martín Chirino was sold in the Dialogues: Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,885.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martín Chirino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Viento in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 226,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Raíz (Root) von Martín Chirino wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Dialogues: Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.885,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martín Chirino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Viento im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 226.800,00.
