This artwork by Martín Chirino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work El Viento (The Wind) sold for USD 87,500.00 (€ 75,744.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Chirino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Viento, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 226,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Martín Chirino erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wurde die Arbeit El Viento (The Wind) für USD 87.500,00 (€ 75.744,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martín Chirino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Viento beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 226.800,00 versteigert wurde.
