Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Raiz by Martín Chirino was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 44,100.00. Admittedly, works by Martín Chirino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Viento in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 226,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Raiz von Martín Chirino wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Auction bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 44.100,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martín Chirino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Viento im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 226.800,00.
