Admittedly, works by Martín Chirino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Viento in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 226,800.00.

Die Arbeit Paisaje (2) (Also Known As Paisaje Mediterránea Ii) von Martín Chirino kam im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.299,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martín Chirino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Viento im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 226.800,00.
