Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Manuel Rivera could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Espacio Collado changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,582.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Espeso para una catedral in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 120,500.00 (€ 157,609.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel Rivera konnte im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Espacio Collado für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.582,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Rivera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Espeso para una catedral im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.500,00 (€ 157.609,27).
